I'm attending the State University of New York - Oswego, where I'm studying for my degree in TESOL along with a linguistics minor. I really enjoy teaching ESL, because I was an ESL student myself and was able to really embrace it. My unique background qualifies me to teach effectively because I understand what it's like to learn the English language. I love helping students learn new things and become confident in their abilities, and I chose teaching because I like helping people so much. It's very rewarding to see people succeed because of the help that you provided. I understand that all students have differences, including their learning styles and strengths. I take those into account and adapt my approach to the method that will work best for each student. I like to work in a collaborative environment with my students where we communicate openly and put in hard work to make progress in every session. Outside of academics, I like to bake, cook, read, play the piano, listen to music, decorate cakes, and do DIY projects.
